The Biopesticide Solutions line of business is our core area and we will offer Bt toxins and performance enhancement proteins for use by the row and high value crop industries, the forest pest control market  and public health agencies. The total available market for this class of biopesticides is $160 million with annual growth rates ranging from 6% in mature markets to 15% in emerging markets.  Ultimately, we will develop a biopesticide portfolio that effectively competes against the chemical pesticides.  Our strategy for this line of business is to formulate and produce products for sale in the near-term.  Additionally, we will seek out other partnerships in order to utilize other Bt toxins with our performance enhancement technology.

The Crop Protection Traits line of business will deliver Bt performance improvement technologies to the GM crop protection trait markets. The total available market for this line of business is $3 billion and is growing at approximately 11% annually.  Our strategy for this line of business is to create a royalty stream by partnering with key seed distributors.
